Del-Mar originally started in 2020 as a passion project, born from a love for the ocean and coastal living. It wasn’t about business back then, just a deep appreciation for the rhythm of the coast and the feeling of belonging it brings. Those early ideas planted the seed for what Del-Mar would one day become.
2023
After a few years, we revisited the project with a new perspective. We saw how surfwear often felt overproduced and disconnected from the true coastal spirit—something we wanted to change. Our goal became clear: to create something that captures the essence of the coast and the lifestyle that surrounds it. Pieces that feel lived-in, authentic, and part of your everyday life, no matter where you are.
2024
In 2024, Del-Mar officially launched with our Heritage Collection. Every item was made with intention, small-batch, high-quality, and timeless. We believe in creating clothing that feels like it’s always belonged in your wardrobe.
Today, Del-Mar continues to evolve, celebrating the spirit of the coast through pieces designed to make you feel like a local (even if you’re not). A portion of our proceeds supports nature preservation, because the ocean and coastlines that inspire us deserve to stay beautiful for generations to come.
